We are blessed with our first little grandson!

......I've finally figured out how to post blogs again!!!......
Bradley Gage Allen was born on February 12 and what a handsome little guy he is! He weighed 7 lbs., 12 oz. and I was fortunate to be part of the delivery team again. His mommy, (daughter Amy) insisted; and, of course I was thrilled to be there. I often think that perhaps God has allowed me to live long enough to be a grandmother and enjoy my role as that. I dearly love my grandchildren and being with them. I didn't know until I became a grandmother what joy it is!
Big sister Natalie Carol is so excited about having her own baby brother and being allowed to bond with him, hold him, and she absolutely adores him! It is so much fun to watch them together, as she gently touches him and talks softly to him each time she approaches him. Priceless!

Bradley Gage Allen, at 10 weeks!

Barb's Blog
Happy New Year, everyone who checks to see if I have blogged anything in the last few months. Sorry, it just doesn't seem to be my thing these days.
Christmas was wonderful this year. We celebrated with our son, Steven and his little daughter, Crista, in Mississippi. It was great to enjoy the church services, decorations, music, and just being together with him. I am thankful that he is doing well and that he is happy and stays busy at work. He feels, as we do, that God has someone special for him some day. But, right now, he is being very patient about it.
We had Christmas with our other children on New Year's Eve and Day for a couple of nights at the lake house at Ky. Lake. This has become a tradition for us in the last few years. We all enjoy it so much. Amy, Nathan, and Natalie arrived Sun. evening just as we finished making preparations for our family party. Then came Kris, a close family friend (of Andrew's) and then Jim and his girlfriend, Karon. Jim's a special friend of Charlton's (and me, too). Andrew and Amanda and Tristyn could not come as he was working. And we missed them. It is so fun when everyone is there. And we had plenty of room for everyone. Jim, Karon, and Kris all went home about 2:30 A.M. on Jan. 1. We all had loads of fun playing Password. Even Natalie stayed up until after 12 midnight.
May 2007 be a much better year for everyone!
We are thankful always for God's blessings of home and family. What a magnificient God who loved us so much that He gave his only son that we could have everlasting life with Him!
